Nikita Senthil

Nikita is a sophomore at Saint Francis High School. Although she has been coding simple projects since first grade, the first formal language she learned was Java in middle school. Since then, Nikita has explored several other languages, including C++, Pascal, Python, and HTML. Currently, Nikita is an AP Computer Science Principles student, with plans to take AP Computer Science Applications next year. At her school, she is also an ambassador for the Girls Who Code club, an editor for the newspaper, and a member of the robotics FRC competition team. Nikita has enjoyed volunteering as a reading and writing tutor in the past and recently as a math tutor for underserved elementary students. She hopes to use her passion for teaching and tech to help Launch Coders make computer science more accessible and understandable.
